Mockingbird Painting

Beside a lake a mockingbird paints on the canvas of time A luscious lyrics of an orange and crimson hue While the menagerie of the scattered light in sky looks sublime As the frangipani freedom greets the birds that just flew Infusing the waters of the turquoise lake With the poetry of their wings along with the twilight shake Clouds graze like the ancestral lambs Ripples of the memories slip through my hands Vermillion sunset sits on water As pellucid as the first evening star

Thank you, Charlie that you have enjoyed the small poem that attempted to draw attention to the glimpses of emotion at work in the life of nature ... the credit goes to SO also for giving me the thread of the ten beautiful words with which the weaving was possible ...

I love your 'Mockingbird Painting' Probir. You have artistically and poetically illustrated the scene with the inspiration of the required words. Enchanting imagery throughout but especially 'Clouds graze like the ancestral lambs' - gorgeous water-colored imagery. An imaginative and creative write. Best wishes for a win ~Susan
