Mmm
Stars align
whenever your fingers
trip circuits in my mind.
Ivory keys laid across night time
wishing I was more
musically inclined.
Little melodies from heaven
cause sparks to fly.
Should've never opened
my soul to your flame
because my spirit
shall forever bear
the tattoo of your name.
Fingers retreat,
thoughts taste sweet.
Traced lips,
light switched flip
admiring your silhouette
in the morning glow.
Simple things keep
minds blown,
and you're still better
than any wish, want
or desire.
Untouched molecules
cause the universe to move
circling about these
in's and out's
until love takes shape and
holds form.
Every frigid place
made warm
Nowadays, we tend to say,
"No Way. Not Again!"
too many times.
But best believe,
everytime we fall,
we can stand again.
Damn, there I go trippin
delving into the existential us
tip-toeing around trust
while finger licking lust
watching constellations
be birthed.
