Misty Visions

A mist rises
before my eyes
forming a silhouette
of a creature beyond creation.
Deep pools floating
in a creamy complexion,
silken, golden locks
spiraling downward,
framing a face
that stops your heart.
Smitten....
   seems like a kid's word
compared to her beauty.
Floating upward
on gossamer wings,
the sky lightens
as if the sun was rising.
Her smile,
        her smile,
splits the darkness
like lightening crashing
in the night
