Misty Love

Misty Love

I am here, at this moment,
watching the swirling morning mist.
“You are my queen” you said.
Yes, you did dampen my eyes last night.
Did an astral body of a good soul embrace you?

How you, the sentry at the entrance of your own heart,
stopped me each time,
who tried to traverse, wishing the acquaintance.
The blemish of the pernicious influence,
battered my heart,
and haunted me day and night.
Suddenly, it is a reality,
clear as daylight.

Yet, it is a difficult enterprise,
Boldly says my ‘inner me’.
Why doubt? I question her back,
And my contented visage
turns towards you like a sunflower.
