What a terrific image you give us -- the transition from shades of gray in the mist to the vivid color of daylight. Ochre is not my favorite food, but this is now one of my favorite poems. Excellent, James! Love, Carolyn

Your haiku has a calm beauty James, a dreamlike visual quality. It creates a stunningly beautiful image in my mind. Love it ~ Sharon :)
