Tania Kitchin's Cartoon Character Clerihew Contest

Mister Magoo appeared as a cartoon character in 1949. He was created by Millard Kauffman and John Hubley. Wikipedia describes him as an elderly, wealthy, short-statured retiree with extreme near-sightedness.

“Quincy’s” eyesight’s askew.
This old geezer
tried his hand as “Ebenezer.”
