Missing You

I miss your smile, the curl of your lips
Your eyes so soft and wide
The words, those delicious words
The harmony of your heart and soul

Shaking your head with nonchalance
Every taste, every smell, every texture
Just once more to hold you
To feel myself falling through you

I only miss you when I’m awake
When I dream, we are together

This poem, well done, to touch upon the deep feelings experienced by loss! It is very relatable to me. Well done Josh! You might find a sort of poem kinship in some of my writings, such as Framed Existence, Dream Queen, Still.
