Missing the Birds

Today I awoke to bird song,
As the sun brightly shone
In my house from room to room,
My kitten Tippy likes to zoom
Whining when he hears them chirping,
I know that he's really lurking
While he wants to stalk and steal,
And turn them into his main meal
I bet he misses being outside,
But still loves his home inside

Daily life is filled with significance and new experiences that add up as small details in our existance in order to build up happiness; this poem takes a very common part of a common life (I guess we all live in a very not extraordinary existance, does not matter what we do) and twists it with only a small description into something special; thanks for sharing!=D

Your poetry about Tippy brings a smile to my face, Janice. Love our feline friends. (Tippy may think you don't know what he's up to, but we know better, don't we?) This was an uplifting, lovely read!
