Missing Smile-If Found Please Return To

I'm placing a classified add
Nailing posters all over this town
Cause ever since it is you left
I've been missing a smile

I'm not saying you're the one who took it
After all it could have been missplaced
But the very last time I was with you
It was sitting happily on my face

If you wouldn't mind helping me look for it
You remember what it looks like
You saw it for ten of its best years
When it saw you every night

I do find it odd that it's been missing
Since you haven't been around
It didn't take long to notice
That its been replaced with a frown

That's why I'm placing a classified ad
And nailing posters all over this town
Cause ever since it is you left
I've been missing a smile
