Missing Our Kissing
I was just missing our kissing, wishing,
You were here,
Wanting the touch of your skin,
And the smell of your hair so near.
I was just missing our kissing, wishing,
I was holding you,
In my arms pressed against my chest,
Healing my heart that is broken in two.
I was just missing our kissing, wishing,
You were still mine,
To have and to hold,
For all time.
I was just missing our kissing, wishing,
For that happier time,
When love was simple,
Just our souls, our bodies and our minds.
