Missing Her

Missing her As the lonely morn shimmers in ribbons dancing along distant vistas where blushing cloud formations float on breathless breezes and sunrise dreams My thoughts wander through the long shadows forming of maple tree embraces, when again the silent dawn finds we are apart And my heartbeat echoes upon a sighing horizon, illuminating pastel sorrows, tearfully greeting another day of missing her

Sums up my life the last few months Chris, although you paint longing and sorrow beautifully with pastel colours my days are all grey, still waiting for my wife to come home!

"Blushing cloud formations float on breathless breezes" - when you use such lovely expressions in your sad poems, no wonder your happy poems are the best, Chris:):)

So, you continue to write "poetry" using a paint brush for a pen. My heart rate slowed and my respiration with it as I took a second walk along this lonely path.

You write sadness and missing with such beautiful imagery my friend. And so many metaphors in nature for longing and hurt...
