Missing
Missing
She’s missing; the police faff around
Make up excuses, say that she drowned
Can’t find the body and let things slip
She had a bottle strapped to her hip.
Husband says how loving, oh how kind
What’s going on at the back of his mind
Gone without trace, vanished in thin air
Why search the cupboard under the stair
Weeks go by and the media relent
The hounds lose the woman’s scent.
Very suspicious, her bodies not found
A shallow grave under the ground?
After a weeks; hubby goes on TV
The hawks are watching, psychology
Not a tear falls, as much as he tries
Everyone and no one, fall for his lies
Years later he remarries a girl in Spain
And the whole vicious cycle begins again
Controls her moves, keeps her near
Exiles her family, till she disappears.
No body found, tears of killer
Deletes her phone, societies pillar.
