Enjoyed, but many of the homeless vets are too ashamed of their conduct to ever face their mother . . . .

Must have a broken heart. Too much egoism in this world. Hugs.

WoW! A very deeply moving piece. It has happened a lot. Some were surprised and worried that something had happened to him. Other not surprised but disappointed that he wasn't man enough to say goodbye. My mother-in-law's father did that to her and her mother. Went out for cigarettes and never returned. A fine write my friend. God Bless, JB

very poignant, jan! it reminded me of the beatles' song "she's leaving home," although in that case, she did leave a note. perfect match to the picture...

Thanks Ilene , oh that is such a wonderful piece of music, I read an article on missing children who just walked out of the door and seemed to vanish without trace, hugs Jan xx
