Mom said be sure to wash your face off before lunch, by gosh The son obeyed but without a mouth, eyes, and nose He could not eat, why do you suppose

Love how this poem turns a normal mom’s reminder into something so funny and a little spooky—makes you think twice about following rules too literally!
