Misfortune

The blood streams down her chest
witness Misfortune at her best

The blood drips from her hair
witness Misfortune without a care

With pale white skin
and ruby lips
she'll suck you in
trace your finger on bloodstained hips

She'll drain you
make you insane, you
have to have her
blood stained lips

And she whispers, oh she whispers
"Stay with me,
just stay with me tonight"
and you will

While the blood goes

Drip
     Drip
          Drip

She's got you mesmerized

Drop
      Drop
            Drop

Not at all what you fantasized

Drip
     Drop
           Drip

She's your hell bent misery
She's Misfortune, the best

love or lust? this poem made me hornier than a 3 headed sex demon with x-ray eyes and an x-rated mind. so evil erotic its pain is psychotic. i love to hate it and hate to love it. however i am uncontrollably infatuated with it. and i am a very discriminating critic of poetry.see you in your dreams

This is excellent. I sound like Poe. I like the imaginative topography of the piece. Welcome to Poetry Soup and keep writing. Blessings, Joseph
