Mischief
We partake of a sonnet, it soars, it amazes
It can take us on flights that inspire, upraise us
A great sonnet's romantic and beauteous, you see
It is written by Shelley or Donne, not by Stooges, the Three
Lovely damsels, brave heroes ignite our true passion
We all thrill to their exploits, as villains they smash in
The pure rhyme, the bold reason, will cause us to swoon
As we sip lemonade from a straw in a hammock in June...
What is wrong with this portrait, you ask -- innocent
It's idyllic and charming, for sure Heaven-sent
Wings of angels are beating in time to its rhyme
A melodious Harmony, Syncopated in time
Well, I'm sorry to tell you the news, so sit down
~ There are no sonnets on Facebook, C'mon!

"Sonnet" - whose last couplet does not actually rhyme
and is rather disrespectful to the hallowed form, at best
