Mirror Reflecting Resilience

On looking into the mirror, I saw a thousand bits of myself; a woman who like Janus, with twin faces~ one looking backward to the past, to learn the other forward, to hope and plan. Saw a warrior, brave and indomitable~ fighting adversities and hardships not because she is unbreakable but because she knows so well that the sun will rise after every sunset.

Quite a perceptive method of introspection, Valsa. Beautifully written; I loved reading it this morning.

Beautiful writing. I now stay away from mirrors as much as possible. Rely on my wife's blessed lies. Just as handsome as ever! She gets eye-shots every 4 weeks to keep what is left of her vision. The Golden Years.

An interesting take on the subject. The sun will always be there to help us.

Good one, Valsa. I enjoyed reading it this morning. Within each of us is two positions fighting for control of our Spirit, which one we feed is the one that grows. I see you have the faith from your writings. Sara K.
