Mirror of Truth

I haven’t ever despised you
in my hearts of hearts
since I saw your nakedness.

No good fellow would see a light so clear
and shun it
No such individual the truth would find
and disbelieve it:

I saw in you a physical form and thought
of keeping you always never ever to
forsake you
As a number one
bestselling international book.

I placed you under my pillow each time I slept
feeling that soon a nocturnal angelic being
would visit me and register your good contents
with indelible ink on my memory.

And though I love my Saviour so well and live
genuinely surrendered to His will and His care
I’m just wondering how it’s all going to appear
and how I’d feel wooing you
and then to realise
the joy of sleeping on these two
protruding breasts of yours.
