Mirror, mirror
You double edged sword
We use you
to straighten our look
before
going into the world
But also
you show our flaws,
a wrinkle here,
a blemish there,
to say absolutely nothing
About our hair!
Events in life,
conflict and tragedy
betrayals and strife
can act
like that mirror
to reveal our flaws
Or our mistakes
if you please
But they give you
a chance
to correct
your thoughts and actions
