Ministry We Are Called Into
God-ordained, yet people-oriented…
That’s the ministry* we are called to bear
May we be compassionately prompted…
Spiritually led, we show love’s great care.
May we not be foolishly blinded…
Propelled by selfishness’ interests
To the Lord, let’s be fully yielded…
Striving to do our parts with utmost bests!
Divine labour demands our persistence…
As we trust Christ to guide us with His light
For He blesses gracious competence…
Honouring Him with earnest work’s delight.
Let’s trust the Lord midst our obedience
Pleasing Him with our faith’s performance
As we serve along earnest patience
Joyously, yet devoid of arrogance.
*1Timothy 1:12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry.
