Mind's Ebb Tide
Wading
Pants rolled to the knees
A soft enduring sunset greets my eyes
I ponder the meaning
Love, life, happiness
Where has time gone?
Where is it going?
Wet
My pants now bare weight
Still watching the sunset’s colors change
As your eyes drift to see
Mine already staring at yours
All my questions are answered
Time went, with happiness
Time goes, with anticipation
Life could not be better
For it has love and happiness
Wanting
Never anything more
