Milkweed Wonder Pod

I picked a ripened pod
And split open at its seam,
Hundreds of seeds attached to
Fluffy tufts of hair.

I blew gently and sent a
myriad silken little
parachutes into the air
across the meadow!

This is a great descriptive work of what would happen if one opened one of those pods..Amazing how they can land on hard ground and a new plant spring up there..Enjoyed reading today..Thanks for stopping by..May this be the best Christmas and may joy, peace, and love reign in your New year..Sara
