Miles Can’t Measure Us
“Miles Can’t Measure Us”
We’ve grown side by side,
From scraped knees to shared dreams,
From laughter in playgrounds
To late night FaceTime screens.
Though oceans may whisper
And cities divide,
Our bond stays unbroken
You’re still by my side.
You’re sunshine and laughter,
My calm and my spark,
You light up my world
When life feels too dark.
No matter the distance,
No matter the miles,
You’re the one who can lift me
With nothing but smiles.
You’re beauty unspoken,
Inside and out,
My anchor, my sister,
My heart, without doubt.
So here’s to the years
And the love that won’t fade,
Because friendship like ours
Is forever handmade.
