Miles Away

If it was up to me, I would be where you are
If it was up to me, you would be here and not there
I sometimes wish my love didn’t run so deep
Other times I wish for nothing more
I know it’s silly but I also know it is true
It’s been a year and it develops daily,

Deeper still
The thoughts I have may not always seem right
At time the confusion make them take to flight

I love you with every breath I take
With all my heart, I doubt that can be a mistake
I want you close by and not so far away
I want to share everything I have with you

So here is all that I am, even with you 
Miles away…
