Mighty Manhattan

Surrounded by water,
Mighty Manhattan stays strong.
With Lady Liberty as a daughter,
Memories of 9/11 hang on.

But when dawn breaks
On its arrival each morning
The ground shakes
As the world gets its warning.

Rising above the hurt and the pain
Stronger than ever before
Pelting out in a united refrain
Mighty Manhattan lets out a roar.
