Might Be a Stark Christmas
Santa and Mrs. Claus brought the Christmas train to Field’s
A young mother had sent her children in to see the toys.
They mentioned it was going to be a stark Christmas.
Their father had been killed in the war.
They had been warned not to expect much.
Santa and Mrs. Claus exchanged a look.
That year these children had a rather lovely Christmas.
It was the least they could do.
