Might As Well Laugh

I know too much of tragedies
I prefer reading comedies.
They are the better part by half.
Even the gods themselves must laugh.

Look all around and you will see
reality's a tragedy.
I'll speak on comedy's behalf.
Even the gods themselves must laugh.

One thing I've learned throughout my years
laughter's better by far than tears.
Laughter will soothe through times that chaff.
Even the gods themselves must laugh.

Yes, I'll speak out for comedies
let others keep their tragedies.
Comedy is my chief of staff.
Even the gods themselves must laugh.

Despite the bite of tears and fears
laughter has got me through my years.
It's why I choose this happy path.
Even the gods themselves must laugh.

You wrote this poem very well, and made me sort of want to see things happier, but gosh I am a tragic girl, most of the time, I write of sadness, best of luck in the contest~~
