Midwinter Celebration
It was a joyful Midwinter coronation
to celebrate the country's new queen.
It had been her destiny since birth,
that she should wed the young prince.
She carried herself regally to the throne
wearing a mantle of sapphire velvet
and a crown set with pearls and diamonds
atop her silken tresses of ebony curls.
