Midnight Sky
Drop down into darkness
Just you and I
Let's take these stars and shoot them down
Then we can fly.
The swirling mist beneath our feet
Dissipates to nothing where our eyes meet.
We're not quite in shadows
A spark resides
Between the space of my hands and yours
The fear- just dies.
These blue eyes could be the sea
Pulling me deeper with their gravity.
I drop down into darkness
Where you and I
Can take the world and let it drown
In the depths of this midnight sky.
