Midnight Shadows

For those who knew me,

You knew me well,

But never of my given hell!

The midnight shadows disappear,

Taking all of my fear,

For I hide to seek,

Dark but neat!

For those who knew me,

I loved you so very much,

But never enough!

The midnight shadows disappear,

Bringing me so very near,

For I hide to seek,

Dark indeed!


For those who knew me,

I will remember you all,

But never saw!

The midnight shadows disappear,

Taking all of my tears,

For I hide to seek,

Dark beneath!


For those who knew me,

I knew you to,

But had not one clue!

The midnight shadows disappear,

Taking all of my years,

For I seek to hide,

Buried deep by the darkness inside!
