Midnight Nubian Reflection
I looked
into a mirror;
it looked back at me—
a stunning reflected glow
of regal beauty.
In mixed reality,
I brushed a naked smile
of blessed vanity
and stood there for a while.
An image of God I said,
and hopped into my waiting bed.
