Midas Touch
In all that which could have been wearisome
Ended up an experience quite awesome
A process we all believed rigorous
He handled to show himself The Vigorous;
A task we all took for The Onerous,
He easily made us want numerous;
A journey we all judged as The Perilous,
He proved one that would us make sedulous;
Conditions we felt were not innocuous
He treated as safe, this point luminous
And what truly could have been burdensome
Turned out at last to be less tiresome!
If one asked for help, Steve quickly fetched one:
Those who’d leaned on him found it A Great Fun.
Oh! How I wish I’d got this Midas Touch
For giving The Doubting Thomas as much!
