Michelangelo's Jam

Finger to finger
You and Picasso appear on
                          Sistine's ceiling.
What a spread.
When did you two first apply jam to bread?
Did your parents exclaim, "Ah, ha! My son,
the artist. Look at the way he
       puts jam on toast."
Or perhaps simply--
Finger to jam.
Finger to tongue.
Finger to finger.
Finger to God.
