Methodical Transition

The bare trees stood waiting for their buds A new chapter of growth and beauty to begin Lush green color will take over the landscape Long before the multiple colors will explode A bear scraped bark off a tree the other day The shavings were left beneath on the ground Nuthatch continue to climb them upside-down Woodpecker are hammering their holes for nests There is a lot of transitioning activity around While these story telling trees seem to rest They lost many branches in the wind recently Still, the growth of life drips with sap methodically Heidi Sands 3/30/22

I simply love trees, over Christmas, we were on holiday in the Midlands in Kwazulu Natal. I have never in my life seen such an abundance of beautiful trees, never ever. I was in awe, I thought I knew South Africa, but this was a unique revelation. Love this write Heidi, Hugs, blessings, Jennifer.
