Metempsychosis Love

Mi alma gemela
last night you chased the demon
away who sought to steal me
into the void of loneliest of loneliness...

You gnarled and cursed the demon
who dared speak of darkness
you lover of eternal confirmation
keeping account of my joys, love and pains...

I have loved you in numberless forms
an infinite number of occurrences
I have held you life after life
from the diaspora in age after age...

When I first gazed you
I recognized you instantly
all of the loves and lives
draws me to you endlessly...

Melting into the dream of dreams
our souls have always been here
knowing for who we come for
knowing where we are going...

I and thou eternally
we honor the cosmic oath
my love, will you always remember me
from thousands of years ago?
