Metaphoric Tissue Paper Cuts

Obscurity's trenchant
     sorrows blotting 
        tissue paper cuts,
tears aptly smeared
    in hidden fears of
        first dashed allusions,
darkly flippant metaphors
       sans passionate accolades 
          left to gingerly decay,
    grandiloquently speaking,
       'Happily Ever After' is
           hardly a verbose nuance
             throughout a quinine
                         poet's collection

Were i not afraid of offending the poet's ears I'd drop a Holy F in there - but since it's the Sabbath somewhere in the world I'll simply say "This is very nice" :) Paloma P October 8, 2016 at 8:51 PM This made me laugh, I'll take a Holy F any day! :) I also have a piece that someone sent me about 'that's nice' really means I don't give shyte, so that made me snicker too!
