Message To You

Message to you Tanka poem By Michelle Morris 04/12/2020 You are out of reach. Communication is done. How can we talk now? Can you read my mind, lovely? I love and miss you dearly. © Michelle Morris, 2020 The tanka is a thirty-one-syllable poem, traditionally written in a single unbroken line. A form of waka, Japanese song or verse, tanka translates as "short song," and is better known in its five-line, 5/7/5/7/7 syllable count form.
