The herd mentality. Takes courage to break away from the herd. Particularly in our current world. Darkly deep dipping trench of a poem. I was left reading this poem again, looking for the salivating wolves amongst the herd with blood dripping from their fangs. Fantastic as always Freddie and so very unique from your other poems.

Apt portrayal of the sheep being led to slaughter. There's an editorialist in Chicago named John Kass. Ever read him? ---His term for all of us suckers in Chicago is 'chumbalones.' FJR, you nailed this one! Sparks-flying-everywhere statement...Accurate Analysis Depressingly Dark Distillation. #1! :)
