Message In a Bottle-Death-Tahera

I have at last reached this divine shore Where no man has ever set foot No dirty trash can be found In this peaceful retreat Nature's soft silence As peace returns On tip toes To meet Death

Hi Tahera -- I really like how your nonet here exudes that feeling of acceptance-- I came back from a wake today and this seems very fitting to read for me... liked how you say "divine shore" as well--- nikko :)

The "divine shore" sounds like a place I'd like to be. We may have to tip toe and meet Death before we reach such a panacea. Litter is everywhere, dear, and a problem in the states as well as other countries. Enjoyed the soothing quality of your poem and wish you success in the contest! Love, Carolyn
