Merlin the Magic Cat
My pet cat what's up with that
I see you reading a book
You look so aristocrat
And have a studious look
With your nose flat on the page
It's, like, you're coming of age
Yesteryear you chased your toys
You just a kitten around
Now you look so grown and poise
Your new horizons spellbound
From your new meow to now
You chowed words more than your chow
Forget the outside playground
And playing the alley slide
You booked words and went to town
On that magic carpet ride
From dawn to dusk you star gazed
The sparks in your eyes amazed
Let's teach you to surf the net
That's a whole new world out there
For you're my magical pet
With a few paw clicks, you'll flare
What's that grin stare on your face
Huh, you've been to that place
