Mercy Never Cries

I walk this earth; and it's a crowded mess; Selectively imprisoned masses; count their spoils accumulate their worth; Now when it's all said and done; And the bankers, the rich think they've won; God comes... Mercy free freed is mercy Mercy silent Quiet is the voice Of the undeserving and improvised that got away Mercy yields Mercy watches Mercy graces the hope and hopeless Mercy laughs but mercy never, ever, never cries Mercy doesn't Cry And you ask, Why God has no need for tears in the skies Mercy waits Mercy cares Mercy doen't hate Mercy bears All the pains of humanity, while sharing all the goodness it has to bring; Mercy yields Mercy watches Mercy graces the hope and hopeless Mercy laughs but mercy never, ever, never cries Mercy doesn't Cry And you ask, Why Mercy can't die; Mercy won't lie; Mercy just in season and out; and did I mention that no tears in the eyes of mercy, because mercy can't cry; God has no need for tears in the skies; written by James Edward Lee Sr.2017(c) July 30 2017
