MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS-How I truly feel
Here is a poem for Mental Health Awareness week:
We never know how a person truly feels inside. Sometimes we hide behind a smile.
Remember to check on your friends and family.
Don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it.
I look into the mirror,
What do I see?
For only I, know the real me!
I may put on a smile, as I walk through the door,
But deep down inside,
I feel unsure and insecure.
My emotions I often hide,
I don't tell a single soul,
But I tried!!
People often say, "How are you today?"
I will tell them, "I'm fine, "
Then I'll be on my way.
Even if someone seems fine,
Just check they are really ok.
Don't ignore,
They may need your help and support,
Just a little bit more.
When we have the love of friends and family,
That might be all it takes,
To brighten up our day,
And the happiness it makes.
Be there for each other,
For each other, please be there,
Let them know,
Just how much you care!!
