Memory's Breeze
Yes, it’s a road
But a road like no other
For the scent of nature fills the air
Each time I travel the road there
The honeysuckle lingers
In my hair
On a summer day
Whether it be hot or mild
I pick up the scent as it comes to me
There’s no other place I’d rather be
As the honeysuckle lingers
Wild and free
It’s a place I recall
The summers of my youth
Oh, how I loved it all
The way it brought a smile
Forever to this child
The honeysuckle lingers
Still…for me
