Memory of Promise

Promises I made on life’s pathway I haven’t kept yet, they blow like dusts of crumbling dusk. I tell spent sun, stop awhile to sink, wait, don’t close the sail on sky to set until I finish my task. Marooned memories lost in ashen lane of ebon night, lie stranded in the bleak abyss unknown. For pledged me I will invent new sunlight to see the undreamt dream designed on dark horizon.
