Memory

I remember my memory......vaguely
I think I do, I guess...
But sometimes I'm not so sure....
My brain just seems a mess

I was what I was,
And I am what I am
And Popeye I don't claim to be,
If you really must know,
I'm frightened to travel on the sea

Maybe if I ate more spinach,
My lost years will fall in place
Hopefully that's the outcome
Rather than me falling on my face
