Memories From a Stuffed Dog

Your always near;
memories of
winters past
play on the air
in front of this
fuzzy gift.
With beady black eyes
and brown spotted black fur,
I'm reminded of a
long lost companion.
Your gift;
a memory
of a memory,
cherished and loved forever.
