Memories

Memories,
In flashes
They come and go!
And how you fall back
To the same
Place, time, and space.
A trick well played
By your illusionist mind
A part of you
You leave behind,
Only in pursuit
To live it through.

These nostalgic flares
These bittersweet moments
You crave to experience
Them all over again.
And again, and again
Cherishing every second of it,
Learning more,
And giving more;
You try to mold yourself
In the person
You want to be.
But all that's left
In it for you,
Is the mark it had
In store for you!

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
