Memories

Many years we spend together and all I have is memories left. Today I sit here all alone, because my love has gone. I will not see him anymore. We spend many days together. than one day we relized that those days had becomed years. We never thought about the future, or made too many plans. We just lived day by day accepting whatever came. One day - things changed, but we held on. I got very sick and thought that it was the end for me. I was wrong - God had other plans. I got well and came back home. Little did I know it was now my husband's turn. Six months later, the Lord called him to go home. Now I remember the places we went to and the special things we did. We had a good life together with no regrets and those are the memories that I will never forget. 03/28/2012 By Lucilla M. Carrillo At the end of our lives it is always nice to leave good memories behind. This happened in 2009

We must make good memories while we can because some day they may be all we have left. I understand your sorrow. Thank you for reading and commenting on my "Mother" poem. Love, Joyce
