Memories
Some untold stories ,
some secrets to keep .
The old threads binding me to reality .
The old memories rush ,
those childhood days take up each corner of my heart .
Many things change with time but the experience remains ,
reminding us each day of the incidents that once took place .
No matter how hard we try to let go and forget ,
but the sweet nostalgia of hometown
and family clutches us over and over again .
A fantasy I'll call it,
as we ascend to a whole new world,
thinking about the memories of those good old days ,
that keeps our hearts all cozy and warm.
