Memories

Tear soaked cheeks
Shine in the moon light
For whom do you cry?
Tethered to a dream
Like Old rivers swept by
For you It must be that I weep
Lost in time
swept rapidly by
My fingers I touch to your stream
Deep, down to the bed
Darkest currents, regret
Eroding the boundaries away
Slip away into sleep
Drift away from my head
Let daylight bring light to the dark
